Linear Automation offers field installation and tonnage calibration services for new or existing tonnage monitors.

Having accurate tonnage can help prevent damage to your dies and press. For presses up to 4000T, our service technicians are available 24/7 to perform the testing and calibrations, all around your production schedule.

LA-DiePro

The LA-DiePro System can help prevent costly die repairs and press downtime. With our simple to use system, misaligned parts, improper part/scrap ejection, misfeeds and material buckling can be detected before serious damage is done to the die or press. When a problem is detected the LA-DiePro System signals a stop to the press.

The LA-DiePro System allows the operator to select from multiple input configurations and stop signal types. Each type has ‘on screen’ help descriptions and examples. The teach function screen allows the actual turn-on/off angles of the sensor to be viewed and adjusted. This feature takes the guesswork out of angle (view window) setup.

LA-DiePro Features:

  • 4 programmable limit switch (PLS) outputs
  • Coil feeder interface (through programmable limit switch outputs)
  • 5.7″ colour touch screen

LA-P-M is a quick, cost-effective retrofit solution to meet or exceed applicable safety standards (CSA, OSHA, ANSI). It easily interfaces with auxiliary equipment (transfer, feeder, de-stacker), is simple, clean, and intuitive to use, and is customizable to application-specific requirements.

The LA-P-M System is available in various levels:

  • Complete control and field wiring system installed and commissioned by LINEAR Automation.
  • Complete control system installed by the customer. LINEAR will provide onsite commissioning support.
  • Complete control system installed and commissioned by the customer. LINEAR will provide phone support for install and commissioning.
  • All levels include install instructions and manuals.

LINEAR offers 3D scanning services for any machinery, structure, buildings, etc. We use state-of-the-art 3D scanning equipment for accurate representation of the object being scanned. Accuracy within 1mm at 25 meters.

STOP TIME TESTING

The Linear Service team can accurately measure stop times and safety distances to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Testing Availability:

  • Stop time testing services for mechanical, hydraulic, and servo stamping presses.
  • Stop time testing services for automation equipment (turn tables, conveyors, fillers, etc.).
  • Stop time testing services for cranes.

Documentation:

  • Stop time test reports are submitted upon the completion of the service.

VIBRATION TESTING

Linear Automation is capable of doing full machine vibration tests on presses and press equipment.
